The National Fuel Conservation Incentive Program (CIP),
offers residential and non-residential customers in National
Fuel's western New York service area a number of
money-saving rebates when you buy an Energy Star®-rated
programmable thermostat or when you replace specified
appliances with new energy efficient models.

Tax Credit for
Nonbusiness Energy Property

return)
The
Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is now
providing Consumers with a tax credit
on eligible high-efficiency heating and
cooling equipment. Please contact Dave to
find out which equipment meets the IRS
specifications for high-efficiency
tax-credit models.
Tax credit at a glance:
$50 for each advanced main air
circulating fan.
$150 for each qualified natural gas,
propane, or oil furnace or hot water
heater.
$300 for each item of qualified
energy efficient property.
Eligible items must be placed in service
after Dec. 31, 2005 and before Jan. 1,
2008.
The maximum credit for all taxable years
is $500 - no more than $200 of the credit
can be attributable to expenses for windows.
